Stay with us in the Village of Baddeck while you enjoy all that Cape Breton Island has to offer. Beira's Retreat sits on a hill offering beautiful views of the Bras d'Or Lakes and is still within walking distance of the Alexander Graham Bell National Historic Site and Museum, shopping, restaurants, and other interests and activities.
Elizabeth Graham and Beira will be your hosts. Elizabeth spent many of her early years living on Cape Breton Island. She left in her late 20s, spending time in Ontario, New Mexico and Manitoba. Wanting a retreat of her own, Elizabeth moved to Baddeck in 2014 with the intention of opening a B&B. Elizabeth's previous career was a university teacher
Beira's Retreat was named after Beira, a Chorkie, who had a large personality despite her small size. She was sometimes a little shy but accepted guests as her new best friend quickly. Sadly, Beira is no longer with us but her friendly spirit remains.
This is Cally, a chorkie, and the knew host-in-training at Beira's Retreat. She is a year old now. Because of Covid 19 and social distancing she is still very shy but loves to play once she gets to know you.
